You can play almost all popular video formats out of the box on the A32, including the ones you mentioned, but if you want AC3 audio of MPEG2 video you need to buy a plugin, which should be available on Archos's website.

I played a bit of resident evil on my 32 with a wiimote. It seemed playable, but no doubt the higher resolution screen scaling will bring performance down. You should check out the droidx's performance, since it shares the same cpu/gpu with all the gen8 devices.

I think he's talking about a Archos 5 IMT, which does not have bluetooth.

I think if you press the ^ button and then a vowel, such as o, it will type a ├┤ or other corresponding ^ed letter, which makes sense as to why it takes two presses.

If you install an the SDE, epdfview works pretty well. It renders pages way faster than the archos one and supports indexes, bookmarks, and other cool stuff that the archos one doesn't.
