I'm not sure what is going on with it.

As a favor, would a couple of people turn the screen brightness and gamma up on theirs and let me know if this is normal or if I have an issue. If I keep the brightness and gamma way down I don't see it much at all.

Maybe they should have spent the time they used to throw this together and fix my 605. If the browsing experience was acceptable us 605 people wouldn't be switching and might consider another Archos product. As of now, no way.

I guess there is a reason Archos has remained a tier 3 maker of personal electronics. If they don't fix the flash issues many of us will be gone for good. It is hard to keep winning net new customers for every product when you run off all the old ones.

Ok, I was able to get out of the GPS demo. I'm not sure how but some combination of holding the power button down, resetting repeatedly and then plugging in the power cable did it.

BTW, I can't seem to get redtube.com to work. lol. Rats. It just keeps loading and never loads.

I pushed the down arrow and found the GPS demo. Started it. My screen went blank and now I can't get back into user mode. I have tried shutting it off and reseting it. But no luck.
