Good idea, let's collect all modules which are compatible with RK2818, so i can include them in the ROM. So you can insmod if you like.

You could try this way. Then you don't have to copy the update file to the device, and also the remains of froyo.09 will be gone.

Well, probably you have now some remains of the froyo.09 ROM, which has a RW system partition.

it worked with the original software (Android 2.1 eclair) for me - i thought the "ROM" is the complete firmware/software I think also that the 22.22 ROM is very complete and good working, most issues with previous froyo ROM's fixed. A pity that your SD card doesn't work. that sounds complicate ...

Hopefully someone else with this rom and an SDcard mentions his/her experience. My 4Gig SDcard works fine. I've my Titanium backup's on it, no problem. Also have a few thousands of ebooks on it, no problem.

What I now want to do is upgrade from .21 to .22 but having spent a lot of time downloading and configuring apps I wondered if there was a way of upgrading to the new image without having to manually select, load and configure the apps I had previously installed? Only way I know is using Titanium ...

Well, only thing really changed in 22.21 is the browser crashes. If you're using Opera, i wouldn't bother upgrading. To answer your question, I think TitaniumBackup can do the job?

Patched the webkit, so the Android browser doesn't crash anymore on the Google Mobile page.
Also nice to know is that somehow USB Mass Storage is kind of working, see this youtube movie.
