Arctool can do it without rooting? root is needed. If you're on the older firmware you can make do with the temp root you get via Archangel. That's why I'm still on the one before 2.3.30 since I love having the buttons up in the toolbar, especially for games. But even with Quickoffice too, among ot...

Are there any good apps that allow you to play files from your A5it over the network, or make them shared like on windows I want to use my A70 to play movies from the A5it I'm currently using WiFi file explorer, which works quite well, but doesn't recognise mkv files as movie files and won't stream ...

It's much easier once you have it backed up to just email the file to yourself rather than hooking everything up through your computer
