Try going to manage applications and look for contacts storage, normally these are huge in size and they keep accumulating. Not sure why, but try clear data in it and you might get a large chunk of space.

Adobe Flash 10.2 (unofficial release - leaked apk) is the latest one. This was a apk released for the motorola Xoom but works cool with the Archos 101. I've installed it in mine and could see a significant enhancement in the video quality while streaming.

If the green light blinking frequency is fast then it means you don't have enough charge to boot the device. Hold on to the power button until you had a steady green light then leave the table for atleast 10 mins. Then press power button again the device will boot.
