If anyone is interested. I just rooted my Family Pad using KingoRoot. Took less than 5 minutes.

I download a lot of tv programs. I tried to play one and got the message: format not supported. I got a free app from the Google playstore called Archos Video All Codecs. I replayed the same video and it worked. As I said earlier the viewing angles on this tablet are very good.

I got my Titanium 101 about 2 weeks ago. I like all of the exrta ports, no wifi issues, decent build quality, very good screen viewing angles. Negatives are, no Bluetooth and can't charge through usb connection. For $200 I like it so far.

There are no links to buy the newer items. Platinum, Titanium, Gen10XS. I click the online shop link, all I see are the older models for sale. I live in the U S.

Where did you buy it? Are they available in the US yet?

If this is a dumb question, please forgive. Have you tried a factory reset?. If that does'nt fix the problem, it may be a hardware issue and you may have to replace your device.

What ever it is, I am very satisfied with it so far. I got it used in like new condition, very cheap($90)

I have the original box. It shows Archos 80 G9 4GB dual core processor. This was one of the Staples models. What I found out later was the system uses about 3GB and leaves almost 4 GB for the user. I got a very good 4GB used one on ebay for only $90. The one I have is the 1.2 GHz model. If you can find a good one for $125 or less, go for it. For that price range, it is an excellent tablet.

I just got a nice one on ebay for 50 bucks. Since most current apps wont work with this firmware I will use mostly for videos and music.

Reset might work. Try holding the power button for 10 to 15 seconds. I had the same problem with the Archos 70.

Just got mine yesterday and the usb port worked, using the latest firmware.

You can buy plugins on ebay. When you pay, in the message box give the serial# and product key.

I sold my iphone 4 and got a Dell Streak 5. I will admit it took a little while to get used to the larger size. Now I love it. I doubt if I will ever go back to a smaller screen.

I bought A70 8gb as soon as they were released and then I sold it. I soon got sellers remorse and got another one. I plan to keep this one at least until the next gen. is released. My favorite gadget.

Anyone able to get this app working? It was offically released by Comcast for the Android Market (for most android devices). I could not use my archos to download the apk file, so I searched the internet to get it. I keep getting a unknown error message. I have a comcast account.
