podcast app that works with the screen off
Apparently the Archos doesn't conform to standard sleep protocols as a result neither doggcatcher nor Google listen continues to play once the screen shuts off. Anyone know of a working podcast app for the Archos?

Okay archos don't be punks :)
the guys over at xda just put a preliminary port of honeycomb onto the nook color, if you guys don't step up and show em what you got you might as well just pack it in.
seriously though great work on software support for the gen 8's, you guys go above and beyond what most companies are willing to ...

Re: help with flaky bluetooth tethering with the touch pro2
So yesterday I reset my phone and BAM no more tether. after an hour or two of frustratingly seeing "unable to tether" I tried terminating my cell's data connection. then I tried to pair again, and success! no more problems at least for now, hope this helps anyone who finds it, probably me when I ...

Re: I believe you owe us some answers Archos
Honestly I think some people in this community need to get a grip. From My perspective Archos doesn't owe it's users that much. Again it may be my history that has colored me but I'm coming from a world of products that have had meager to no support from the manufacturer. Sure Archos slipped with ...

Re: help with flaky bluetooth tethering with the touch pro2
yeah so, today tethering is working 89% of the time, changed nothing just decided to start working
maybe one day I'll figure out what it does and does not like. so far I know to always disconnect before it goes to sleep because it has problems reestablishing a connection upon wake up.

help with flaky bluetooth tethering with the touch pro2
I've been able to tether my A70 to my phone successfully twice. Each time it worked for a while and then it got disconnected and I could never reestablish a tether. even after rebooting both devices and removing pairing and starting from scratch. It only seemed to work after several attempts to ...

what keyboard are you using
finally got around to trying to type on the archos... man is it disappointing. the shifted space bar and a letter screw up my touch typing something awful, sure I could probably get use to it if I need to but anyone using another keyboard that doesn't have these hiccups? also a better error ...

Getting my A70 today looking for Tips for Day 1
Finally after order cancellations and camping on the archos order page I'm finally getting my a70 today. any advice, besides immediately killing the battery playing angry birds till sun up. What's the consensus on Froyo, seems like it doesn't bring much to the party until we get perm root or a more ...

not to mention that having it on xda is a form of publicity, which would increase the profile attracting more developers.

now with froyo out, Nook Color vs A70
I was thinking about purchasing the A70 but I'm reading all the complaints about the froyo rom so I gotta ask should my money go to this or a Nook Color because it seems that community might be stronger.
A lot of people have been complaining about the Froyo update. I'm not trying to extinguish ...
