When u first startup your 101, it will ask you whether to use default launcher or Zeam. Click Zeam and remember to check the 'Default' at the last row of the menu. That will do.

I've problem w WPA too but fine with WPA2. I'm using the 2Wire modem and 101 fails to connect when set to WPA. But it connects flawlessly at WPA2 setting. And it even connects at Channel 12 (which my HTC Desire fails to do so).

Is the charger working properly? Did u see a green light when u plug it in? Normally, when u turn on the power, the Archos will auto start (provided the juice in the batt is sufficient to startup). If possible, try to grab hold of another charger and test.

SMB works fine for me on Win7 and I didn't need to do anything but share the folders. On the device that i wanted to share with, I just gave it the server's IP address and the login information and it works without an issue. What problems are you having with SMB on Win7??

I managed to see the shared folders in my Win7 machine. 101IT asked me for username and password when I click on the folders. I got the password from my Win7 homegroup. But what is the username to use? Can't seems to log in.

Archos provided a very good apps, System Monitor, to allow easy termination of apps manually. I use that when my RAM hits 20 MB.

Try different channel in your router. I have this problem until I switch the router channel from the default 6 to 12.

Not to forget that the A101 has excellent battery life too!
