Glad I found this thread. I was downloading the new firmware after receiving the update notification and searched for some info while I was waiting for it to download. I have no issues currently so I don't think I'll upgrade. Sounds like it's more likely to break more than it fixes.

I'm using the latest apk from my N1 and I don't notice much of a difference to the prior version. Not sure what the big deal is w the Droid X apk. Last I tried it didn't perform any better than the apk from my N1.

I installed the Droid X Flash player on suggestion from this forum and embedded video is still unwatchable. Guess I could give this a go since what I have doesn't work all that well anyway. Can't get much worse really.
