I have tried it, It seems to bring pretty decent performance improvements, BBC Iplayer works (almost*) flawlessly.

*Sometimes very stuttery when the feed starts, but that might just have been my internet connection.

I installed the Droid X Flash player on suggestion from this forum and embedded video is still unwatchable. Guess I could give this a go since what I have doesn't work all that well anyway. Can't get much worse really.

Tried it on CNN, audio was fine, but the video was almost unwatchable.

Haven't looked too much for a less intensive site, but will keep trying.

Were you using the Droid X version or the general version before?

Has anyone been able to get the new flash - Droid X - version .apk?

I was using the previous version on the market prior to the recent update that was available today when I turned on the 101.
Watched a couple news and tech videos today after the update and it seems to be working fine.

That's what I wanted to hear to get me motivated to do this. Did you uninstall first or just install it over the existing version? Did you use the link above to download the apk?

People please note when testing how much system resources you have open, whether it was done after a fresh reboot, etc... These factors matter, at least for me.

You should at least install, reboot, clear resources, then test. :)

Why isn't this available on Adobe website? or everything Android must be either a hack or underground?

I'm using the latest apk from my N1 and I don't notice much of a difference to the prior version. Not sure what the big deal is w the Droid X apk. Last I tried it didn't perform any better than the apk from my N1.

Sites that play
Youtube.com
Videos.pbs.org
Cnn (best to pause the video and let it buffer. Better playback w better internet)

Sites that didn't play
Espn3

Still waiting for the official Adobe version.
