Personally, before buying a product I prefer to hear about people's complaints than praises...since the company will sing it's praises better than any customer will....they need to sell the product to make money so of course, they'll go as far as stretching the truth as legally as possible ...

does it have any office apps loaded? could you try using a text editor on TV?

Also, try and see how much of a load it can take with apps and wireless devices before it starts choking. eg: playing music via wireless speakers while typing via a wireless keyboard and outputting to tv

There is no HDD in the 43. All the non ROM memory in there is Random Access Memory, like it or not.

that is a mistake. the name may be able to be related to a broader spectrum, but give it a context and it becomes very specific.

go into a computer store and ask for some RAM. i guarantee you they will never hand you a HDD.

We are now cleanly into the 2nd week of November. Archos.com states "7/ Available first week of November" when referring to android 2.2. Are weeks longer in France than they are in the US? ;)

could possibly find it cheaper elsewhere, but I like minidisc and prefer to support them.

if they are removing 8gb, maybe they are replacing it with 32gb model?


i really hope it's worth upgrading. if it is, i'll be coming from:

A604wifi + Etymotic er6i

to

A43 + Shure SE535

that accidental click issue with the screen looks to be annoying.

that was something evident even way back with the 604 wifi. The resistive screen is sometimes erratic and throws you off with where it registers taps, etc.

how bad is it with these new devices? do you often get incorrect readings ...
