I recently purchased a mini-HDMI cable for my 97 Carbon in order to capture some videos of Android games. I'm aware that the 97 Carbon doesn't have the video mirror feature, but that's OK. My question is when I hook it up to the TV directly, everything works perfectly fine. However, when I hook it up to my Hauppauge HD PVR 2, all I get is a green screen on both the TV and capture software. I can hear the audio, but there is no video.
I can only assume that some sort of HDCP/copy protection has come into play to prevent unwanted video copying, but I just want to be sure.
Does anyone else have an proper answer to this question of mine? Any help would be helpful
