Archos cobalt 80 keeps freezing constantly!

just bought this for my daughter yesterday and it constantly freezes and the wi fi flashes as well? any help before she bounces it off the wall?

I have this before many times actually. There is an update on the internet that might fix the problem. However I just hold down the off button and restart it. The wifi is a pain, change the setting to keep it on during sleep if that does not work like mine did not, just restart it and it should be fine. Sometimes that does not work so I installed wifi fixer from the apps store. Good luck.

thanks i will give it a try, was trying to update it via the website and pc but dont have a clue how to do it! cant follow the instructions online as it doesnt make sense to me lol
