Any idea when this will be released in the US and...

I know they said it would be released in the US in February, but there's only a week left in the month and I can't find anything about the Gamepad being released. Also do you know what stores will carry it? I'm hoping Best Buy will carry it as I have credit there that I've been holding on to ever since I heard that the Gamepad was being released here.

Really looking forward to running emulators on it if I can ever get my hands on one!!

Your guess is as good as anyone on if and when the Gamepad may come out in the US. Archos.com (as long as I've known about them) has never seemed very good about providing details on when they are releasing products.

Best Buy has carried Archos systems in the past, so there is a fair chance they will carry the GamePad if/when it comes out in the US. Below is a link to Archos website showing who their official retailers are in the US:

I haven't checked that many of the sites directly, but I do know J&R lists the GamePad as available for pre-order. (Up until a week or two ago they offered the Titanium systems for pre-order, but pulled them off the site saying they no longer knew if/when they'd ever be released and unsure that they would ever have any for sale). Hopefully the GamePad will not enter a similar state of uncertainty.

Price is $169.99, but it looks like sellers are already raising the price up. I got my order in last night from Amazon, but that seller is not listed anymore, so they must have sold out already.
