hi guy's i'm looking for archos 101 g9 flat flex cable.i tried to search on google but the only result was"micropuces.com/archos-nappe-video-pour-airis-8050-p-11535.html" and the cable is out of stock.i've tried to send an e-mail to the website but the cable is not in order for the moment.So anyone know where i can buy a flat cable for my archos 101 g9?

I got mine from an old laptop. A bit too long, but with some folding that got solved.
You can find new ones one sites like aliexpress.com, or specialised electronic component shops ( Farnell, RS,...).

have you faunded the ribbon from a old laptop??what kind of laptop?

Ps: i was looking for a cable on farrell and aliexpress. No match found

I believe is was a packardbell. It was the ribbon connection the keyboard to the mainboard.
On aliexpress you should check for the correct pitch and an acceptable length. The amount of leads is not important as long as you have at least 6, the rest you can cut off. The disadvantage is that you'll have to buy 100 pcs at once.

first of all I figured out which cable is connected with which pin, the pin number 37 is not connected in the cable I bought (the only one of all we need), but in the original cable this pin exists, I had to obviate it




i soldered the wires carefuly





the new flex cable in the tablet, ready to turn on...




and TADAAAAAAAAA!!! my archos is alive again!




it seems like it works perfectly without the 37 pin
