Kickstand broken

My kick stand isn't completely broken off, it just cracked are the top and goes way too far now. I did a Google search to see if I could find any one that has fixed theirs but couldn't find anything. Anyone done this. Mine is the 250gb version btw, if that matters kickstand wise. Is there anywhere that sells replacement parts? I'd upgrade to a g10 but I love the 250gb HD in this too much and the g10 has no such option so I'd rather just fix this.

Well, I guess a new kickstand is a no-go at this point. I got a easel for a photo, just one to hold a small picture, and am using that. Man I miss the kickstand but this will work.

If anyone knows if and where I can get a replacement let me know, I wish it was easier to deal with Archos but I know they would want me to send it in to get it fixed rather than just sending me the part and I don't want to go through sending it in and such.

Maybe the alternative is to get a case with built in stand to replace original kickstand.

I got a leather case for my 80 but it does not include a built in stand and instead relies on the original with a slit in the back of the case but the extra weight of the case makes the original kickstand seem pretty flimsy. Could look at something like this which is not too expensive?

I wanted to get something like that when I first got it but all these cases are made for the non-hard drive models, the 250gb version is a little thicker and wouldn't fit in the cases.

The case from newmp3technology was worthless for me. Many ghost thouches.
