I bought my archos 101 g9 from the archos store, received it, and played around with it for about 15 days. Mostly just web browsing and pdf use. One day while viewing a pdf (battery was about 50%), the screen froze and the system shutdown. Afterwards the system wouldn't boot (no green light even) when pressing the the power button. When connected to the archos power adapter the green led would just come on and there would be no screen activity. Left the system charging for about 12 hours and nothing would happen.
Anyways I just recently contacted archos (in the US) and they gave me an RMA. Sent the device to the repair center and they received it in 2 days. When checking the RMA number, they say that the device will be repaired within two business weeks. So my question is how long did it take anyone here who had an RMA to get back their device? Also did you get back the same device or a replacement (when I orginally got the device there seemed to be some cosmetic flaws, maybe it was a repaired one?)?
Thanks for your time and any reponses!
