Merry Christmas everyone!!!
IÔÇÖve purchased the cinema plug-in, downloaded to my PC, copied via USB to my Archos 70. Now, during firmware update I get the following message
ÔÇ£The update file is not valid.
The file might not have been correctly copied when transfered onto the device (203)ÔÇØ
IÔÇÖve tried the process several times , did a reboot a few times ÔÇô unfortunately no luck.
IÔÇÖve received an e-mail from Archos confirming the purchase with the link to the software. Unfortunately it does not work either.
Can you please help? This is a Christmas present for my son and he wants to watch videos.

Re: Problem installing cinema plug-in
Did you download the AOS file or the EXE file?
If you downloaded the AOS file then you're procedure was correct. I would re-download the file from your account on Archos.com and try again.
If you downloaded the EXE file, go back to your account and get the AOS file. I'm not sure how the EXE file is supposed to work, but everyone struggles with the EXE file and the AOS file works OK.

It is on aos format but is corrupted. I've opened with a text editor and there is a text something plug-in not found on this server.
