18c MAC OS X Compatability & Loading Music Issues

Hi All,

I've been given an 18c for my oldest son. The trouble is I use Mac's at home, apparently I can transfer music to the unit but when I attempt to play it the screen comes up with unknown format. I have done this and thfiles are showing, but they are unable to be played. :( :( :( :(

Does anyone know what I need to do to change the files into something the Archos item can play? :? :? :?

Any help will be gratefully accepted.

Your (online?) user manual should say what types are allowed - probably at least mp3. It sounds like you are using some mp4 or itunes type - I think itunes can export them into mp3 if you go into its help mode.
