Fired up netflix on my 70 a little while ago and it popped up a new message. It said there is a new version and you have to upgrade to use Netflix. The only choice is to click ok to upgrade or cancel which now closes the app. So I upgraded to the new version but it won't play the videos. Rebooting does not help.
Any ideas?

you have to update fw to 2 4 80 then you can update your netflix.

i have netflix for sometime with older fw and alway asked for update but unable to do. i have the same problem you have now with fw 2 4 80 but this time it let me update.....try 3-4 times almost delete netflix app. someone out there must have knowledge to solve this problem.... 
edit: there are netflix apk out there....pick one that work with your device....
