Archos 80 newegg

Post by mazeetwazaad »

found this link on newegg and thought id pass it along http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6858501014 A lot of info on the turbo 1.2 ghz version, 16gb memory. Says it was 319.99 so maybe archos will be releasing the tablets at that price. However, newegg says theyll sell the unit at 299.99. hopefully this info is consistent upon release.

Also found the G9 Turbo Pre-order at J&R for $299 with free shipping. Mfr. Part # 501895

They are saying it is the 1.5 Ghz 16GB version. No mention of the RAM. I'm sure the mean 1.2 but maybe I can hold them to it.

From their page:
Specifications
Display characteristics: 8" Multitouch screen with 1024 x 768
Application Framework: Android 3.2
Processor: ARM dual-core CORTEX A9 OMAP 4 @ 1.5GHz, 3D OpenGL (ES 2.0)
Capacity: 16GB Flash Memory + microSD/SDHC Slot

You can check out with Amazon too. :)

I ordered one. I post what they tell me.

Interesting that neither site mentions the amount of RAM. I'd never spend $300+ on a tablet with just 512M of memory.

It's not a problem. I haven't encounter any problem since I've bought my 80G9.
