Calendar not working

When I try to use the Calendar app with my Archos 43 it does not work. It will display an empty calendar and when you click on a space to add an event or agenda it goes to where you would fill in the details of the event. However, it gives a popup saying "You Have no Calendars" and backs it up to an empty calendar again. I tried other calendar apps and they all seem to do the same thing. Does anyone know how to fix this?
