Official tiwtter app, can't login

So, I've installed plume, twitter, twidroyd trying to figure out which one is the best for me, but...
Can't login using official twitter app or twidroyd. Twitter's app just locks for some time in loop, signing in... And after some time it returns error authenticating, try later.
Twidroyd app tries to redirect me to app auth page but can't sign in.

Any reason why is this happening? Plume is working just fine.
Any suggestions on what should I try? I would like to see tweets on home screen in a widget.

I haven't tried any of those but I use Tweeter Cast and it preforms well...

I've tried tweet caster but it has too small widget, it's good app but not for me i guess.
Did anyone managed to login using official twitter app on A70S?

I've contacted twitter mobile support and got this answer:

If your timezone settings are right and you have the latest version of the app then please turn off your device for 5 min and turn on to resync data and try logging in.

This may also be an issue with your Wifi connection not accepting SSL, which is needed to connect to Twitter. Since you are exclusively using WiFi, please contact your service provider for assistance.

I've tried timezone check. Settings seam ok, but no chance to login. Tried automatic and manual settings.
Checked SSL connections, works in browser. I can login on https://twitter.com/
I've downloaded twitter's SSL certificate and installed it from SD card on A70, no login again.

Did your issue ever get resolved? I am having the same problem. Cannot login with any twitter app, but logging into the mobile website through browser works fine every time.

The idea that twitter requires SSL is interesting. Could my device be lacking a setting to allow SSL?

Nope

SSL is required for login. But even after adding manually ssl certificate to my A70 I couldn't use official twitter app.

On the other hand Plume for twitter and TweetCaster work just fine. So, there's something messed up with their app.
Haven't got any more responses from their support team, so... I'm waiting another update.

One more thing, ssl is working fine in browser, so gen8 supports it.

If you don't get it working try TweetDeck, It works just fine on my A43IT, doesn't mean it will work good for you but hey the app is a free and whats the risk?

Too small widget
I like to see new tweets on home screen. Clicking around to see what's up isn't that fun as just scrolling.
What can I say, lazy days xD
