604 and 604 WiFi question

I am new to Archos stuff so please bear with me.

I am thinking of getting a 604 but now I see that there will be a different version with Wifi coming out soon, is this correct?

Will this version be available still this year? Should I wait for that version to come out?

i heard somewhere its out in late december and its gonna be pricey!
