OMG 700+ from spam

Charbax this is a joke now, im posting this up in case it happens again.
we got hit blooming hard today from 1 spammer using 3 different addys,
the idiots hit only one room which made the job a whole lot eaiser.
if they do this agin go to the toom thats hit then select moderate, then mark all (unclick the real posts) then hit deleted, it will delete whole pages in one click this way.
we really need more tools now and better protection....

Sorry again, I'll hire some phpbb dev to make all the changes and I'll make it a priority to assist him once I am back from Hong Kong after the 20th April, ping me evt even sms to +45 42264404 so I can do that mass deletion thing if needed. Over here, I got to talk with the Archos CEO and COO, they now promise we'll get at least 10 devices per year to give away to top mods and forum hackers and others who deserve to get free unit for their time spent here.

Wow I completely missed this. Sorry for my MIA status recently. Still recovering from my surgery, spending a lot of time at physical therapy. Things have been crazy between work and physical therapy, but it's starting to slow down now.

Now with the time that I do have in the evenings though (evenings Alaska time, so early morning in Europe), I will make sure I hit the forum at least once a day to check for important info and spam. As I recover more, I'll be more on active status again. I know this isn't the best time, as Allen is no longer a mod, so I'll try to pick up some of the slack, and do my job here better. This way Roy can take a day off

Edit: Also, Charbax, you have Google Voice right? I can get a hold of you through Skype, but I can't call or text to anybody other than US/Canada on my mobile. Being able to ban an addy and then delete that account, and have all the posts for that account also be deleted at once, is the Holy Grail.

Tediously working through the posts, one after another, is mind numbing. And I don't mean Comfortably Numb.
