What is the tv recording like? It has a schedule right?

Is the scheduled recording easy to use? Can you program it to record your favorite tv shows? Oh yea, and when the 604 is recording, does it record at the volume that the tv is on? I had an old pmp that only recorded up to the sound that you record on the tv. If you turn down the volume while you are recording the volume goes down when you try to play it back. You also can't make it louder than the recorded volume. Is this a problem with the recording of the 604?
