Not sure if it works from tablet though......waiting on mine to come in.......anyone try it yet..??

Just to be clear........you can now download straight to your tablet without a phone, straight from the Android Market website, through a browser, without going through the Market App..???

Does the use of the market website require that we have the Google Apps installed on the tablet?

How is it beneficial to download the app by going to the website and downloading the install rather than using the app whose sole purpose is to install those apps? Is there something about doing it online I don't know of?

Just a thought to me from prior experience with another tablet.........it will be a nicer way to search through them on a laptop, at your leisure, and have them sent automatically to your Archos, or other tablet, or phone for that matter.......should be easier to search, and in most cases, faster as well......

BUT......I don't have my Archos 70 IT yet......just a thought.......

It's definitely a lot more convenient to browse an app store on your laptop/desktop than it is on a tablet because of the speed with which you can browse, read comments etc etc. You dont even have to do that double tap to accept terms/agreements etc etc. Screenshots look great too! Overall, its more of an elegant experience.

Just tried it and it works great.

It even says it is downloading it to my A70...so it knows the device.

Has anyone looked to see if all the "missing" apps from our market are available online? I didn't have time to check. Also, does anyone know how updates to apps that you download this way will work?

I see all the apps on the web market where i dont see them in the app. Also the wen dorsnt see a device under my account though it sees all apps i have downloaded...

And also.......it seems to be the ENTIRE market.......and you can go to the site in your browser, such as Skyfire or Dolphin HD, and search while on the Archos, and not be missing any........better searching also.......

I had one hiccup tonight with it. I downloaded an app and it didn't download for about 5 minutes. That was just once though, and every other app has been great.

I think it's odd that there are some apps that is says are "not available for this device" despite the fact that I had them on there a few weeks ago. I needed to re-install google maps, but it now tells me I can't use it. Can't use Google Shopper either, and some other apps as well. Anyone else having that problem?

Yah, it appears that the online market doesn't recognize the A70 for some of the apps.

I was trying to get SwiftKey tonight, and it wouldn't get past the page where it wanted me to select my device.

One question; It may be that simple, but I cannot figure out how to add my Archos 70 to the list of 'Install on my' section? It only shows my T-Mobile Pulse. Anyone know how to add another device.
