Need help restoring files in 504

Hi all, noob here.

I've applied the latest firmware v1.2.05 for my 504 and had to use the factory reset feature under system settings. I believe this is a new feature under tools released in this firmware. Anyway, the reset function wiped out all the picture (wallpaper) files that came with the device originally and did so with the 2 sample video files. I called tech support and they were not aware of this issue and they have no way of giving me copies of those files. I tried to talk to them in getting copies of those to me from their 504 but to no avail. Just wanted to post this that you might want to backup your directories before using this "factory reset" function if you don't want to lose those pictures and 2 video files.

Any 504 owners here who can kindly share copies of the wallpapers and video files ? it's just bad Archos cannot provide these or should have included them in the latest firmware.

BTW, in case you're curious. I had to reapply the firmware twice since the first time I did, I lost a couple of things that used to work in the previous firmware like, when I go to music folder, it always defaults to file browser, no options to lookup by artists, year, genre etc..

I figured doing the "factory reset" and reapplying the firmware will fix it, which it did but I lost all the factory pictures and video files.

Other than that, it's a cool gadget with 80gb storage. I just saw the the 80gb Ipods just came out.
