Web-browser for archos 101 with pdf viewing capability

Hi guys,

I desperately need a web-browser that has either an integrated pdf viewer or an add on to do the same... any suggestions? It seems one can do this rather easily in an ipad.

Can get adobe pdf reader from gmarket, and then stock browser will download pdfs. You may have to have the browser setting flicked to enable plugins. Actually I get the download ok but can only bring up the resulting pdf by swiping down the notification bar and clicking on the pdf.

Yuk, the adobe pdf display cannot seem to zoom within a page. BTW, this discussion should be in gen8 apps so knowledge isn't splintered by every device. Answer may even be there or elsewhere

We have had our 101 for a week and have downloaded adobe pdf reader from apps lib. Can view pdf files locally but cannot view pdf online via web browser - just get a blank window in front of the web page. Tried to save link and it just saved the web page. We are using the browser that came on the machine. We have tried changing the settings in the web browser but nothing works. Do we have to load something else? We are novices with android and are having a lot of trouble with it so any help greatly received.

Dolphin just released a new version of their mini browser. I just installed it and their HD browser. I read the release notes and what's new and their blog. One of those mentioned improved pdf capabilities but I honestly don't remember which. So either Dolphin HD or mini now have pdf or it's planned for the next release. Not too helpful I know. :-/

Thanks for finding that. I quickly looked but couldn't find the reference. Looks like I was blind as its right at the top of their blog.

I think there are no web browsers that have an integrated PDF reader. But you can download it as an add-on in other browser like Midori or Firefox. And by the way I think the PDF reader is a separate software so thatÔÇÖs why there is no browser that has it.
