Could Ad-Hoc connections be possible??

This is just a question to the Archos software engineers. Could Ad-Hoc connections be possible?? This has been brought up quite a lot in the forums. Many have older phones that only transmit using this connection. Is it possible to add the ability to the Gen8 tablets to allow them to connect using Ad-Hoc? if so could it be a part of the next firmware update?
