Archos 104

I left my Archos on my bed and when the sheets were pulled off it dropped to the floor hard. It still played music but the screen was difficult to see unless it was in the dark. The screen got more difficult to see and when I tried to play some tracks it came up with a message that couldn't be read. It wouldn't move to the other files, the message kept showing up. The message showed up when I tried to turn it off but it did shut down. The screen is black now and it won't play anything.

Does the HDD led do anything? Can you hear any spinning? The Microdrive is relatively delicate so the jolt could have upset the head mechanism. Forunately today's flash based players should be more robust if you need to replace it.
