Hello Everyone,

New user here, just registered since I just ordered my A70. I am looking forward to learning more about what I can do with this tablet.

Anyway to the point, I just ordered my A70 through the Archos website for $274.99 then during checkout it showed a discount of $55 making my total $219.99 + 9.00 Shipping. I did not enter any discount codes, and I heard in another forum that Archos was doing 10% off but it looks like I got about 20%. No word if it is in stock I just got an e-mail with the confirmation and that they would sent another email when it ships.

Just wanted to pass the deal along, if anyone else is interested...

I "ordered" a 250gb A70 from "Circuit City" today, which isn't really Circuit City since it went bankrupt, btw. But I doubt they actually have any units in stock. If you read their feedback on Amazon, you'll notice most of the bad feedback (and they have a lot of it) has to do with long waits for items that were supposed to be in stock. If they don't ship by the 23rd, they gave a shipping window from the 22nd to 23rd, I'll probably try and cancel the order and search elsewhere. Though it appears they don't make canceling easy either.

Funny, I just bought the 250GB version friday night and am expecting it this thursday (UPS) with no hassle and first time visiting there website, lol. Of course I researched. Is this thing really that hard to get for its regular price?

I ordered two A70's from the Archos site on Sunday morning - paid $274 and $30 total for overnight shipping. They arrive tomorrow. When I checked the store this morning, all models were sold out. Guess I got lucky.

Have you gotten a shipping notice yet. I ordered mine Sunday and it hasnt shipped yet. When I ordered it it said in stock ready to be shipped. I just need to be patient I guess.

My guess would be Colorado based on their US office. I am waiting on a shipping notification as well. Hopefully soon!
