Help me please! locked out

I don't know what I was thinking, I set up the 4 pattern lock mode sequence thing but forgot it.

Now I can't get in, reseting just brings me back to the lock menu. I can't access settings at all. I was stupid and didn't register my archos 28 so I can't even contact customer support. I'm so sad right now, I just got it today and I haven't gotten to use it at all. help?

Secondly, have you tried googling "Locked out of android, forgotten password"?

Have you tried to reset android settings or reformat your device? I don't know how to do this in a28 but in archos 70 there is a boot menu that's open when you switch on your device with "volume up" button pushed down.

Of course haha.
No worries I got it, called the company and there's a setting where you press the power button twice at the startup screen and you can reformat everything. But NOWWW I can't find the appslib button. it disappeared after I reset it. fml man lol

Just use any browser (including the one in the android device) to go to appslib site and download it back. As an option there's also that software pack from archos someone linked to, that contain the apks for apps that were originally included in the devices.
