wifi problem?

Hi,
my Archos 32 has the latest firmware of 1.0.84 but it can't to connect to the wireless router anymore.

I have "Netgear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router", and have only turn on WPA2-PSK security option.
On my Archos 32 WiFI settings, i keep getting a SSID network "secured with WEP", while a same SSID network with "secured with WPA2" shows up once in a while. No matter how many times i forced it to join the WPA2 SSID network, it seems to connect for a few sec and then connection dropped.

In netgear router's log, i saw lot of the entries like the following
[WLAN access rejected: incorrect security] from MAC address

My other wireless device is working perfectly fine, except archos 32

any idea?

I had similar problem with my Netgear wireless N-150 router. I contacted archos and they told that the problem was that my netgear was broadcasting G and N signals simultaneously and that i need to just use one. Sadly it took a while for them to tell me that and i had already replace my router with a linksys WRT, so i cant tell you if that worked for sure .You should try that although. In my current router, I have to ability to broadcast B or G or both. I choose G only and all is well. type http://192.168.1.1 to configure your router. You will probably want to use N only
