Adobe Flash in Opera on 704?

Post by Archivar »

Hi!

Maybe someone knows aready.
The Opera-Browser is instaleld on the 704 WiFi. Sure one other browser than I'd prefer, but it works good so far. Even WPA encryption and MAC-Access control - no problem.

Is there a possibility to install the Adobe Flash Player on the item? When I click on flash content on some pages Opera puts me to the Adobe Linux Flash Player page, where I can get rpm- and tar-files. As I now familiar with Linux, so what do I have to do to make it work?

Do I have to diassemble my brandnew 704 to find it's kernel and compile it anew?

Thanks for help!

Series 4 does not support Flash or Java. There are many threads covering the issue. I kindly suggest you to use the search funtion before creating a new thread.

A mod should probably put a sticky down regarding that topic, because it seems like a very common question relating to the WiFi models.
