hello can someone help me my 3 vision now wont turn on from the on switch at the bottom if i want to turn on i have to plug into mains thats ok but if i am out i wont turn on i have tried to reset but that does not make any diffrence plese can you help.

Maybe your switch is sticky like mine. Sometimes I have to swing out the phonejack or even pull it out to watch what position it is in. Slide it left and hold for quite a while. Then mine often won't return and I have to push it to center (but not too far into the screenlock position).

yeah..maybe there is a problem with your switch or any external moderators..need to have general check up of your gear..

Sometimes my Archos 3 Vision doesn't come on, and it's because of the power switch's design. The sliding switch engages a small button located under it when slid to the left, and clicks into a lock when slid to the right. The issue is that, unless you are applying slight pressure "into" the device while sliding and holding the switch to the left, the button doesn't completely actuate, and the unit remains off.

A minor, but regrettable design flaw that can easily be worked around. Barely worth complaining about in a sub-$100 media player.
