I have a 504 80, and have not been able to record movies or tv on it. When I call the Tech support number they just put me on hold and then hang up. I do the the DVR dcoking station and the cords. Thanks in advance.

This functionality is pretty straight forward. More info is needed.
Can you advise how you have it hooked up to the video source. ie - is it via svideo or the composite (yellow) plug?
What is the video source you are using? And what setting do you have the 504 set to in the video recording section?
