Reproducable Airplane Mode Bug :)

Post by CruNcher »

So the problem is if you go into Airplane Mode via either the Power button or the Settings Mode neither of both recognizes the others state change :D
For example you turn on Airplane Mode via Power Button and look into the Wireless Settings status it shows Aiplane mode is off (no checkmark, most options don't get grayed out) which is false, if you then checkmark the Airplane mode it grays out most of the Wireless options but this state is also lost as soon as you leave the options and reenter them now if you change it's state to enable again and then disable the Power Button Status wont change showing Airplane Mode is still ON but your Wifi is connected ;)
It gets better if you now change the state of the Power Button Airplane mode to off and go into settings and try to enable Wlan it wont work (it just shows you Wlan activating and nothing happens) ;) Now you have to checkmark the Settings Airplane mode so that everything gets grayed and then uncheckmark it and voila Wlan gets activated.

Also if you enable/disable Airplane Mode via the Power Button the chance is lower to get reconnected successfully back to the AP then if you do it via the Settings Panel where it always works flawless :D
