How to replace the hard drive in an Archos AV500 (100GB) ?

When I turn on my Archos AV500 (100GB) device, after the start-up Archos screen, the device simple displays an error message which reads "Read access error! Can't read from hard drive".

The device is in great condition although I purchased it 4 years ago. So, I'm pretty sure my device is fine. Its just my hard drive that's broken. How can I replace the hard drive with another 100Gb one ?
