When repair disk chose i'm asked to connect device to PC and install an update file - I've connected to my PC but I don't know what to do now and nothing seems to happen - can anyone help please! (Not good with installations etc... please help)

it should show up on your pc as usb removable device and you should be able to download the firmware and put it on the root directory and then unplug the usb cable. it should then ask you to update the firmware.

I'm still stuck. I've downloaded the firmware but and copied it onto the unit but I don't know how to update the unit itself as I can't get passed the recovery 104 message - any ideas!! I really need very basic step by step help.

it might take a few try to get it to work.

Once file copied over, unplug the usb cable. I believe the message will change. Then plug back the usb cable because it needs to make sure power in on. It will then looks like it's not working, but it's actually flashing the firmware. Takes about 2~5 minutes to get it done.

Search "recovery 104" and there are people with better experiences might be able to help.
