Book reader on the GMini500

I picked up a gmini 500 from Amazon for Christmas and I have to say I'm VERY impressed with the device.

The only bugbear for me is the fact there is seems to be no way to read ebooks, text files or PDF's on the thing.

Does anyone know of any third party, opensource or homebrew app's or hacks that will allow me to read on the device?

Even some way of running apps would be nice as I'd be prepared to write the reader software myself!

Any help would be appreciated...
