What is that on the miiddle right of the blurred image? A button, a microphone? There seems to be something above that button/mic as well. So if it get revealed on 11 June, we should expect sales by the end of June or mid-July?

is this new archos android device supposed to be more like a mid, pmp?

with it running android iwill i be able to install apps from the android market place on it? i doubt it very much but it would be nice to wish.

I think that third party apps support is part of the reason to use Android as the OS. Though obviously certain apps with certain features will only work if those hardware features are present, like the camera, the GPS, Bluetooth, motion sensors and the electronic compass. Also I think that there might be some very specific things about the Android applications that will be specific for Archos since it has better hardware for video playback, video recording, a faster main processor. The higher resolution screen might require to port some of the applications and I don't know if that will be automatic or easy.

It will be so awsome, so great, a complete revolution, the BEST device in the world... Until someone other than Charbax try to use to it's fullest capabilities... I can just smell the beta software and bugs, the again horrible customers care and service, the endless array of (useless solve nothing important) firware updates...

The company hasn't changed... What they need to change is not the device or the underlying OS software, it's their atitude.

I've been looking, Archos seems to have things locked down pretty good. I guess it's easier when the company is small -- easier to find (and fire) the leak as well.
