Playlist function doesn't recognize SD card files

When creating playlists with the device itself, the 405 will only create llists of files from its internal memory, it won't link to files on the SD card at all. I understand this is a problem with the 605 4gb as well. Is there any fix for this? Firmware is 2.1.04 (latest).

I was able to create a playlist that contained from both, the built in memory and the SD card.... The problem was that it will only save the playlist with the songs from the built in memory.... but it was playable

So it sucks, you cant save playlist with the SD content.. but at least you can make a list in a given time to play it...

I think this player is oriented to have a light size primary music library and a video player from the SD card with secondary music also....

Thats what I used to do in my AV530... (now upgraded to AV580)

I had my fav music with a couple of movies....
And then I had music i dont like that much (party music and to dance) in a Flash Drive that can be conected to USB Host feature with more movies....
