How is the finish of the 704 holding up?

How is the aluminum finish of the 704 holding up? Signs of wear? Is the brushed finished getting shiny?

Is this a survey? Have Archos asked you to find out where they went wrong on the 5/7 and the 605/705?

My 704 is looking very good, but it rarely leaves the house and it lives in its case. Despite a lot of use, it looks like new. But then, I'm a careful user. I think the shiny/brushed finish is less likely to show wear than the dull matt finish on the 605 etc.

I've only had my 605 for a few months, it's already showing wear just from sliding in and out of the supplied pouch.

704TV finish is holding up OK and still looks good as new. It is used indoors most of the time so doesn't really get a chance to get damaged.

Mine is holding up very well. Had it for 2 1/2 years now, and I use it for 2 hours almost every day (commuting to work by train). Still looks like new. No scratches or wear that would be visible to the unaided eye.
