Flash 9 Games

Do you think that Flash 9 will enable more advanced flash games like Desktop Tower Defense to be played on the 605? Or is it just an issue with the Archos hardware not being fast enough?

i believe that it will have the ability ti play the games because of the encoding,but i am afraid that it will be very laggy.=( o well stick to the basic games.

Flash 9 does increase the speed of flash apps, because they improved the code in some ways (I don't knwo exactly how, It's just waht the Adobe site says)...
but I think the main problem is the limited computing power of the Archos unit and the integration of Flash...

I am pretty sure Flash 9 will be an improvement - I may not run much faster, but it will enable much new features (such locked in FlashLite and such new in ActionScript 3) to play around with, so the speed of local games may not improve that much, but we will be finally able to watch all websites with Flash content... if it is released...

Can people who have upgraded tell us if flash games that were laggy before run fine now?

all the games right now are designed for desktops, so it will be slow on the archos, if someone made games designed for the archos, it should be way faster. You can see the games on the ipod touch, and the archos is faster.

yes, i played the bow and arrow game on the flash 7 and it took about 30 seconds with lag,to load

now it takes only bout 20 seconds,without lag!!!
