Is an offline dictionary possible?

It is possible to download, say the content of dictionary.com and keep it as a html file for offline useage? Or something of the sort?

Probably not quite what you are after, but yopu could go to

http://www.wordhacker.com/en/wordlists/ ... d_list.wdl

and download it as a html file on your pc then move it over to your archos and open it in opera.
