Smart Volume?

Hello

My Creative Sleek has just died and I'm looking at this as a possible replacement. One thing I loved about the Creative was it's 'smart volume' feature, which basically converted tracks so they all played at roughly the same volume. This is important as I previously had an iRiver and it was very frustrating having to turn the volume up and down all the time. Does the Archos 204 have this feature does anyone know?

This is something the Creative synching software was doing right? Actually converting every file before it was put onto your player right?

You could do the same thing just using somekind of audio normalizer software before you transfer them onto your device using Archos drag and drop.

No, the Creative players actually have a setting that does this, within their equalizer settings.
