Direct Transfer to Android Phone?
Does anyone know if once you have a recording on the Arcos TV+, can you connect a usb cable from the Archos to your Droid X, download and then watch the file?

Maybe you can try Android Assistant tool to help you transfer data to Android phone directly. You just need to connect your Android phone to computer via usb cable, open the Android Assistant tool.
