need your help before buying

Hi everyone!
I want to buy archos 80xs that costs 160$ in my town (haifa) which is very good "value for money".
However, I had Archos 80 G9 8GB, which after 6 month of use started making me problems with the usb port.
Eventually the port stopped working completly!
My question is has any one had the same problems with the 80xs or archos company solved that problem and installed better ports in the new models?

I have a relative that had the Archos 80xs and he's had it for 9 months now and still not a problem, so i guess its a matter of how much you look after it if you don't have any under 9 year olds in your home the tablet should be fine i also think the tablet is awesome so if you are gonna take care of it Archos 80xs is a great choice
