Wifi on Archos 80b Platinum

Had this tablet for a few weeks now and am generally very pleased with it, its processing power seems in a different league to the 80 G9 Turbo that i also have.

Just one issue i seem to have is that the wifi pickup doesnt seem as good as my other (older) tablet. range is more limited and it sometimes drops connection in certain parts of the house. Not a major problem as it works fine in the places i use it most. I was wondering if other owners of this tablet have had the same problem?
